Bio:
Wes Prankard is a 13 year old philanthropist with a mission to build a playground in every remote northern community that doesnʼt have one. As first runner up to One Dreemʼs “Canadaʼs Next Top Young Philanthropist”, Wes Prankard is inspiring the nation with his challenge to “do something”. For Wes, the journey began January 2010 when his dad returned from a trip to Attawapiskat. Over dinner, he shared stories and pictures of people living in third-world conditions. The fact that he didn’t have to leave Ontario to witness these living conditions was unfathomable to Wes, so he immediately set out to do something.
